Its a good start to what could eventually be an excellent $4 app for supporting an excellent site. That said, features such as adding new beers should be priority for those of us who frequent smaller establishments and breweries needing the boost! Hopeful my "investment" money will help to improve this potentially excellent app!

Cant login. Cant search. Cant use bar scanner. Complete waste of your hard earned money!

Shake to force focus the camera? Are you serious?!?! Will not focus and tapping not shaking make it happen. Awful experience

Like the site, but do not buy the app!! Go buy a beer with the money you would buy this app for. Wish I could get mine back. App has lots of problems and doesnt give you lists of beer. It it simply to keep track of all your beers you have tried. Cool yes, but not 4$ cool ha. Was hoping for something better for the amount I spent.

App runs for a few minutes and then crashes. The short time that I can use it, it doesnt seem as user friendly as it could be. Wish I could get my money back.

Love their website, hate the app. Is poorly executed design that is temperamental and difficult to use, when it works at all... Take a lesson from Wine Spectator, they created a great and easy to use wine app, please do the same for beer with the wonderful information you already have on your website...

Like the web site - dont like the app. Clunky interface; has yet to load a beer of the day; doesnt search consistently; scan doesnt work. Save your money and buy a beer - this app isnt worth it. Im deleting it.

Just purchased. The Home page is not loading up. The loading icons appear and are permanently trying to load the content with no success. As this page appears to be central to the use of the app, for me its useless - please fix!! Otherwise this is a waste of $4.

As a craft beer fan, I use this quite a bit. Upc scan option is great. But for some reason the featured beer never loads for me at all anymore at startup. Otherwise great app for those who want to see rate beer scores before buying beer.

Perfect app. The barcode scanner has yet to fail! Also love that you can create custom lists to save beers and see what your friends are drinking. Perfect.

This is the perfect app for anyone interested in craft beer or beer in general. I find that is the best app option to sort, manage and rate my beers. My favorite feature has to be the barcode scanner, it makes my beer shopping experience infinitely better. Oh yeah did I mention that there is a cellar feature. I have my entire cellar in my phone and can share with fellow RateBeer friends to make trades. Best. Beer. App

This is the best app for beer lovers, hands down. Dont waste your time using trial and error with other app companies. RateBeer is the way to go!

I have revently been turned to craft beer from my Natural Ice beer pong ways and what can I say, RateBeer has helped me along on this journey! I was recommended to use the RateBeer website and i was elated that they had a app app for my phone! Thanks for helping me on my beery journey, Cheers! Best $3.99 I have spent (for those of you who complain of the price, a pint cost at least $5)

I love this website and this app could be awesome, but... It isnt working on my iPhone. The rating features arent operatinal and it keeps shutting down.

Please fix this! Im really excited to have this app and I paid for an app that wont login or properly function on my 5S...

Really the only thing thats worked for me is the search function. Every time I try to use the list function, it crashes. Theres no real content to speak of, no browsing or lists. Would get my money back if I could.

So you have to rate 5 different aspects about the beer (aroma, palate, overall, etc) AND write 75 words just to save a review? Either Im missing something or this is the most pretentious, time wasting app ever. I just want a 1-10 rating scale so I can keep track of what Im drinking. Who has time to spend 10 minutes figuring out what a beer smells like and writing a paragraph about it while your at a bar?

Issues with the accelerometer. Sometimes the scanner doesnt work. My reviews dont show up. And often its really hard to activate the save button. But it does seem to be better than beer buddy. If they can fix these bugs that we got a winnah.

Crashes constantly. If it was actually functional, the app seems like it wouldnt be great anyway.

I love the idea of what this app is supposed to do. However I have to close it and open it to make the search work or to rate a beer. Once this is fixed Ill give 5 stars. Im upset that I paid for it as of right now.
